If you know the reference behind 'Shiny Mama,' then you have some insight into the mind of Ukrainian-born vocal maven Yana Chupenko. Shiny Mama, Yana's brainchild, has but one ambition: to rock. Yana, who has been playing music for years (first in the seminal all-female punk band PMS, then in the metal-core act Wench), delivers an all out vocal assault laced with an unrelenting catchiness.

The music has been compared to Guns & Roses, or a ballsier version of Bad Company or Heart, but such comparisons neglect the unique sultriness and power of Yana's voice.
