Messianic singer, Sharon Huckel, delivers worship and praise music with a Jewish flair. From contemporary praise, to folk rock, to traditional klezmer, her voice will inspire and challenge.
Bio / Background
Described by MessianicMusic.com as “One of the Messianic Movement’s finest”, Sharon Huckel has been blessed with a voice that has touched many. Sharon Huckel’s three recordings have included contributions from international recording artist Paul Wilbur, seminal Messianic band, Israel’s Hope, and acclaimed songwriter Steffi Rubin, author of the worship classic, “The Trees of the Field”.
"Courts of Praise" is a delightful blend of modern worship and praise music with Sharon's classic Jewish flair. The CD also includes a selection of outstanding covers and standards, including Melody Green's Messianic worship favorite, "There is a Redeemer", and a Celtic/folk take on the classic hymn, "Take My Life". Cuts from “Courts of Praise” are receiving airplay on the South Jersey-based Christian radio station Hope 90.5 FM.
Sharon grew up in Philadelphia where she studied voice at the renowned Settlement Music School and began performing as a soloist at the age of twelve.
