Severed is a metal/hardcore/thrash band from Queens NY. Severed implements many twists and turns to keep the listener involved and, above all, consistently rocked.
For a shot of underground metal that has as much in common with Lamb of God, God Forbid, Bleeding Through, Fear Factory, Chimaira, Shadows Fall, Killswitch Engage, Slayer, Hatebreed, Deicide, Full Blown Chaos, Cannibal Corpse, Pissing Razors, Scar Culture, Dimmu Borgir, and all that evil stuff.
Severed has had the chance to play shows with some of these notables; Shadows Fall, Chimaira, Dimmu Borgir, Children Of Bodom, Nevemore, Hypocrisy, Mastodon, Scar Culture, Cannibal Corpse, Dark Funeral, Incantation, Pissing Razors, Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Beyond the Embrace, Kataklysm, Arch Enemy, God Forbid, Sworn Enemy, All Shall Perish, Irate, Grave,Emmure, Immolation, Goatwhore, Byzantine, Hell Within, Endwell as well as many other great bands.
