Bio / Background

Doug Segree's debut release. Released in the summer

of 1998, inside showcases the inventive songwriting

and quality musicianship Doug Segree and his collaborators. The sound is acoustic rock fused with hints of folk and jazz displaying versatility and dynamic range that appeal to a wide audience.

In addition to the well-crafted songs on the CD, the layout of the CD was nominated for numerous design awards by the prestigious design publication Print Magazine.

There is no question of Doug Segree's genuine enthusiasm and love for the music he makes. A singer/songwriter out of Annapolis, MD, he speaks with his audience through acoustic guitars and spirited vocals. People are drawn to the melodic nature of the music - strong hooks sung with conviction and performed with true passion.

Doug Segree has been playing in clubs from New York down to Florida for the past decade. He began his colorful music career while receiving his MBA at the University of Florida in 1994.
