Bio / Background
Every now and then a group comes along that challenges the status quo. On their debut album "S&Enter", Seecret Level takes the challenge head on. Describing their music as a "soul hybrid" (since their soul base is mixed with just about everything), Seecret Level is defying trends and making music on their own terms.
What started out as r&b, quickly evolved into something altogether different. Thanks to the vocals, the soul stays right up front while the musical textures are free to roam. Songs like "Mistaken Identity" and "Rise" put stylized spins on current r&b, while "Deceived" & "No Delay" fuse reggae, funkrock,& hip hop into musical gumbo for the senses. "Speak Your Mind" & "Bring It On" fill your prescription for danceable funk, while "Imagine" & "Coming Home" blend soul/pop/& jazz for dramatic results. Thanks to solid production/writing/& musicianship, Seecret Level makes sure everything sounds like it belongs.
