Bio / Background
This powerful spirit-filled vocalist has been singing in churches in Oakland, California since the age of three. Gospel has been the mainstay of Sharon D. Henderson’s musical repertoire from her early introduction until the present.
While singing with the award-winning choir, Voices of Christ, she had the opportunity to sing under the direction of such notable gospel directors as Reverend James Cleveland, Helen J.H. Stephens, and sing with vocal talents such as Daryl Coley.
Sharon traveled and sang as a member of the Voices of Christ and the Northern California Gospel Music Workshop of America,
With the advent of her first solo recording venture, Sharon D. Henderson has stepped out on faith knowing that "Through It All" reaches the hearts, minds and souls of her international audience through TV, Radio and the Internet.
Sharon has always believed in the healing and restorative power of music and this debut CD presents the depth of her versatility through song.
