Blending roots rock, pop and funk this debut of Small Change Romeos is an earful of well written tunes that stretch out, jam and explore a variety of different styles and genres.
Bio / Background
Blending rock, alt-country and funk, the Small Change Romeos offer poignant pop songwriting with diversity and originality. Their sound has been compared to the likes of Phish, Wilco, and the Wallflowers.
Their new album showcases the band's maturity and creative use of instrumentation in the studio. Special guests, trumpeter Rob Dehlinger, and keyboardist Eamonn Flynn (from The Commitments soundtrack) add to the album's variety and color. The singles 'The City' and 'Disguise' highlight this vibrantly eclectic record, which has been hailed as: "one of the best sounding independent records to come out in quite a while..."
