“The Rocking Scoundrels sound as if they were one of the great ’60s garage-band’s plucked from Hollywood youth cinema of the day. The pulsebeat and unrestricted singing gives charge to songs of personal freedom and social revolt. It makes me wish that films like The Cool Ones, The Trip and Riot on Sunset Strip were still being made. The Rocking Scoundrels would find their perfect foil amongst such coolness.
