American music legends such as Kansas City swing pianist Jay McShann, Memphis rocker Rosco Gordon, Texas blues shouter Jimmy "T99" Nelson, Chicago blues harp-master Billy Boy Arnold, and New Orleans soul queen Betty Harris, as well as modern masters like Kim Wilson, Duke Robillard, Bryan Lee, Debbie Davies, and Jerry Portnoy have all been backed on record by Doug & Gordon
