Savitre is music sculpted from a powerful, melodic and foreboding mold with sounds from the fast driven and highly intense to thought provoking and melodic.
Bio / Background
Savitre began as an idea to create music, which was unique and powerful. The band started in 2001 with Sav, Bob, and Matt trying to meld their eclectic styles. After a short time together, Paul entered the fold igniting the unpredictable sound of Savitre. The combination of these four intensely creative individuals melding their distinctive musical talents has forged a sound unlike any other. Savitre is an uncompromising sound, which isn't so much a style of music as it is music with style.

Matt began with music at the age of 7 playing the cello and guitar. Eventually, he gravitated to the drums. Matt has been playing drums for 14 years. He has played in various "no named" garage bands developing his technique and finding his sound. Around 12 years ago, Matt and Sav met through a mutual friend.
