Bio / Background

The Girl

A not-so-bashful midwestern girl raised in northern Wisconsin on the shores of mighty Lake Superior. Armed with her guitar and a set of pipes that have captivated audiences everywhere, Mercedes is a one-woman force to be reckoned with!

Her Music

Tide was recorded at Sacred Heart Studios in Duluth,MN. An old church converted into a state of the art studio offered the perfect sound for this album of all original songs. Recorded primarily in analog, "Tide" is an album of love and longing. Songs range from solo acoustic to borderline R&B, along with some straight up rock and roll. Sasha plays a gamut of instruments, guitar, piano and even drums on this soulful, yet edgy collection of songs.
