Bio / Background
ENGLISH:Sangeet ,classically trained violinist was born in Nicararagua, Central America. At a very young age moved to the USA to pursue his musical studies where he obtained his Masters degree in music from Carnegie Mellon University, after moving to Puerto Rico where he has been a member of the Puerto Rico symphony orquestra for the past 10 years he also begins to study and follow his two equally intense passions, Jazz improvisation and meditation. After meeting Enrique Cardenas a native american/mexican flutist and composer, he joins the Kokopelli Project, an eclectic musical ensemble experimenting with world fusion, native american flutes,indian ragas,blues,funk and modern jazz and begins to flourish as a composer, violinist,mandolinist,percussionist and flutist ,developing his own unique sound and concept unified by a deep search of the mystical qualities of sound ,music ,mantra and spirituality.
