Bio / Background
Michael Ross released his debut CD "We Finally Meet" in 1992. This CD was embraced by the smooth jazz radio station immediately. It was also released in Japan. We Finally Meet has a very sensuous but exciting touch. Michael Ross captured the mood of each song and he plays with conviction.
Born in Chicago IL. and started taking private lesson at the age of thirteen and continued to pursue his craft in music.Later when he was older he began playing in jazz clubs. His music studies enabled him to become a staff musician at the Schubert Theater, performing a number of broadway plays. Michael Ross's sound is sometime compared to the likes of George Benson, but he has distinctly developed his own approach to convey his message in his music.He is someone you must hear.
