Bio / Background
Head Games is a cd created at the Guitar Hangar Studio and produced by Rick Tedesco. The bulk of the instruments are played by Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts Graduate, Rori Shapiro. Rori composed all the songs for the album between 1995 and 2005. The 10 year span encompasses Rori's trials and tribulations through the turmoil of high school, college, first loves, ex-boyfriends, and the spectrum of everyday life that everyone can relate to. The tracks on the album range from the moody Head Games to the pop rock You're so Strange. Some songs are an echo and a tribute to heroes such as George Harrison which can be heard on the track Another Day. Other influences that creep into the songs are Led Zeplin (Touch My Soul), Oasis, The Beatles, Blur and Bob Dylan.
