Improv-heavy acid jazz infused with drum and bass, electronica and dub for a sound like nothing you've heard.
Bio / Background
After the underground success of QB3, New York City musicians and producers Fred Gerantabee and Christopher Heinz continue to push the boundaries of genre and style with The Autumn Sessions EP, an exploration of jazz and drum and bass/dub electronic sounds. Joined by bassist John Trent and a diverse cast of special guests, The Autumn Sessions EP features 5 tracks that take the listener on a journey through acid jazz, dub, drum and bass channeled through original compositions and improvised exploration.
Featuring special guests Anthony Robustelli (of Spearhead) on keys, Nick Gianni (sax/flute), Dror Ben-Gur (sax), Josh Hajicek (tabla/sitar), Audrey Brand (vocals), and a fierce drum 'n bass remix of Mind's Eye by DK and Vincent Schimel of G.O.O.N.D.A. crew.
It's the New York underground sound like you've never heard before, unleashed in over 40 minutes worth of music at an EP price.
