Bio / Background

Ronii’s debut full-length album, Lifted reminds us why we used to love Funk rock, and shows us that we can again. Multi-instrumentalist and multi-cultural this Moorestown, New Jersey native has established a reputation for clever, intelligent songwriting, and funk driven production in Philadelphia’s music scene.

Being around different tastes in music, and being between the countryside and the city Ronii identified with many different types of music growing up. His early immersion in the Philadelphia area’s music scene prompted him to develop skills not only as an multi-instrumentalist, but also as a producer, engineer and visual artist, and inspired the creation of 130 West Music his record label and multimedia company 130 West Records (www.130westrecords.com) .

After several years on the production side, Ronii moved back to New Jersey and decided to take some time off and write music. In 2004 Ronii released the album "Lifted" on 130 West Records.
