The Reggae Bubblers is a Roots and Culture band whose Consciousness stems from their faith in Rastafari, Haile Selassie Ist as their Light, Guide, and Salvation. The sound wave is Positive Vibration and the Feeling is that of Serenity, Rastafari.
Bio / Background
The Reggae Bubblers is a Conscious Roots Reggae band out of St. Croix, Virgin Islands. The band has been in existence since 2001. The Bubblers have produced 8 CDs – 2 Calypso and 6 Reggae – and a ninth is to be released in mid-2006.
The first CD – “De Bubble Burst” – released in 2003 was a single with 2 Reggae songs (Jah Love and Freedom).
The second and third CDs – “Bubblers Wild Side” and “Bubblicious” - showed off The Bubblers Soca and Calypso side.
The fourth CD titled “Give a Little Love” featuring Cheech and Hayba, is a 13 song Reggae CD released in 2004.
The fifth CD, “Hills and Valleys”, has 14 Reggae songs and was released in 2005.
The sixth and seventh CDs titled “Black Star Liner Vol. I” and “Black Star Liner Vol. II” are compilation Reggae CDs. These CDs feature some of the Conscious Roots Artists from St. Croix and the Virgin Islands, such as Ikahba, Xkaliba, Aaron Bull, Jordan, Meko Diamond, Heavenly Petersen, Jr. P.
