Combining Rubber Soul-era Beatles and the Beau Brummels with a distinct 60's-era voice, this is one of those albums that I eagerly tell EVERYONE about. They get what Pop should be--great melodies, jangly guitars, with a nice mixture of slow- and fast-tempo beats. Standout tracks are 'Cruel Girl' and 'Ooh Girl.' Surprisingly, this retro sound is refreshing because nobody focuses on pure pop craft. It clocks in at only 35 or so minutes--so worth the time!
