Bio / Background
Real Mother is more than just another combination of Dayton, Ohio's local musicians. It is the integration of two of Dayton's most powerful song writing forces. World Gone Wrong and Lucky Levin spent years establishing a following for the individual bands. Over time the two bands developed a professional and personal relationship that became the catalyst for what would eventually become Real Mother. After their unfortunate disbanding of WGW and LL some of these friendships began to grow even more. It became obvious that the new band would soon be born.
Real Mother officially formed in July of 2000. The Lineup included Jeremy Knedler (Lucky Levin) on lead vocals and
rhythm guitar, Mark Hamilton (World Gone Wrong) lead guitar, Dave Corn (LL) Drums, and Dave Kimmel (WGW) on Bass and backup vocals. This new lineup quickly proved to be a perfect combination of the two previous bands. With a new found fire Real Mother began writing material that would define the new bands sound.
