Bio / Background

Reaction is an indie rock band from Chicago. They have had some promising label interest, but ultimately no record deal has been made. Disappointed but not surprised, they have decided to release their recordings themselves.

It's difficult to place Reaction into one narrow category; their songs range from the driving rockers "Summer of Love" and "White Lines" to the more melodic and touching "Blue Eyes Cryin'". Reviewers have compared them to everything from AC/DC to Interpol and REM. Reaction stays away from genre-specific formulae. Their only aesthetic imperative is to write good songs and play them well.

The first Reaction CD is now available and is receiving good reviews and calls for more. Reaction plays occasionally in and around Chicago, and will be returning to the studio soon with more material.
