Bio / Background

"No Place Like Home" was the third independent release put out by Keni and Cornbread back in 2000, just a few years prior to signing to Nashville based Moraine Records. The album features the original version of "Hero" and "Mona Lisa's Smile" which R&R Magazine recognized as " a strong offering from a southern country-fried band called Cornbread. Give "Mona Lisa" a listen". Both songs were produced by Keni's friend Shawn Mullins.

Critically recognized for its strong song writing and catchy melodies "No Place Like Home" was the music that helped land Cornbread the slot as the featured band in Disney's blockbuster movie "Sweet Home Alabama".
