Bio / Background
Harpist, Mair Rathburn (wife of singer/songwriter Joe Rathburn), is joined by some of San Diego's finest musicians here on these delightfully soothing renditions of popular Christmas favorites.
Mair (rhymes with air) is the resident harpist at The Four Seasons Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, CA, for their "high tea".
Entertaining and soothing thousands with her brand of pop harp arrangements, and lovely soprano voice.
On Christmas with the Harp she has chosen a purely instrumental approach, and is joined by well known bassist Gunnar Biggs, flute virtuoso Arthur Fisher, violin champion Christopher Vitas , and local celtic favorite Claudia Poquoc on the bodhran.
All the pieces were artfully arranged by Mair to both sooth, and uplift the spirit.
