Jazz-blues crossover with influences of John Scofield, Robben Ford and Larry Carlton
Bio / Background
Ralf's chameleon abilities on the guitar mean you could see him at any number of venues, playing any kind of music. He was drawn to music by Blues and R&B, started playing Hard Rock in his native province of Ontario, toured Canada playing Country and leads the Jazz recording ensembles Terrain(2CDs Terrain & Time To Travel) & Manic Thematic Trio (2 CDs Manic Thematic & Say Yes).
EST 1968 features 10 of Ralf's original compostions in quartet format that highlight his musical influences. This is Ralf's tribute to all of the great artists that influenced his musical growth.
"Ralf's playing is full of heart and sophisticated phrasing. His music weaves a lovely and skillful tapestry of blues, jazz and groove.
