These days based in Oregon's Willamette Valley alternating between Portland and Eugene, born and grown in the Chicago area soaking up blues and the acoustic folk scene of the late sixties and early seventies, seasoned by 10+ years in Austin and Central Texas and steeped for 15+ years in the Pacific Northwest, Brian calls his original material "Squint Yer Ears Music".

With incisive, colourful lyrics of wild poetry and wordplay, engaging stories and "wordless guitar" instrumentals, observations and lyrical rhythms work together celebrating the mental environs as well as environmentals.
