"This trio saunter along the divide between indie rock and old-time country; think DIY as a way of life (i.e., porch-sittin' music) vs. a lifestyle. "North" blends brushed snares, muted pump organ, and rustic vocal harmonies to captivating effect.

THis is a great find. I started with the karma song, and I was intrigued, so I bought the CD. It's great sunday night music, or in other words good for winding down at the end of a fun time. I wouldn't call it sad-bastard-music, but it is definitely melancholy, but in a very good way. I was reminded of early Wilco and the better, and slower country stuff of Whiskeytown, and even some Ryan Adams. Check it out.
