Bio / Background
Psykick Girl is a singer/songwriter, DJ and VJ who is passionate about everything sonic. Her soulful voice has often been compared to Annie Lennox. Her signature sound, described as "funky, organic electronica", has been featured in short films, in various television shows and theatrical productions. She is quickly gaining a reputation as an exciting and original DJ, incorporating techno, funk, breaks and many world music textures into her sets. Psykick Girl runs a "one-woman" music and sound production shop in Los Angeles and her new album "We Are Electro" drops September 2007. She is incubating several other new projects, including a public art installation using visuals and sound and a madrigal vocal chorus backed by electronic instrumentation.
