The first anthology album featuring music by bands/artists/groups exclusively from the area of Cumberland, Maryland – a small city nestled in the hills of Western Maryland and containing more artistry than even its residents might know. Compiled by Pro-Gravity Records and featuring a cross-section of home-grown talent, this album is the first of its kind and an unprecedented glimpse into the surprising diversity of music in Western Maryland.
CMD Represents: Volume I features music of every genre from rock to acoustic to hip-hop – a sampling of surprising diversity and color, made all the more surprising due to its common birthplace: an isolated Appalachian city in the hills of Western Maryland. Contributing artists range from established local legends to the new and previously unheard.
