Id like to talk to you about Pretty Flowers.
The members of this Brooklyn band are all escapees from the Island of Misfit Toys. At once evil and adorable, this group of international musicians (US, UK, Russia) plays fast, catchy, dirty indie-punk-trash-pop that is marked by crunchy guitars, sweet-as-honey harmonies, crazy bass lines and loads of cowbell. Their manic live shows have won them converts all across the nation, where they've played with bands such as the Ataris, the Germs and Shoplifiting, and they've wowed the attendees of CMJ, NXNE and the Motor City Music Conference. Their songs have been featured on numerous independent, college and Internet radio stations (including WFMU, WNYU and WZRU). Catch them now before they get so big the only way to get close to them will be to join the groupie line.
