Post Punk Power Pop - Popstar Assassins takes the rhythms of British Post Punk and puts a catchy melody on top. Delicious.

Review by Marcel Feldmar
This starts off with a strange 80's feel, a little Psychedelic Furs that tends to rock out a little more. I think it is the slight guitar lines and the thoughfully introspective tone in the vocals. There's shimmers and sparks, jags and jangles, creating a full embrace of sound, wonderful melodics, dissonance and noise. PA play these pop songs with a quick wink, saying "We could be popstars, but yeah, we'd rather kill them; this is what we do." They're definitely catchy, but at the same time, it leaves you thinking good things, so don't worry.
