Bio / Background
The goods were delivered at the young age of eight; Syx has always given credit to a higher power. Graced with the gift of guitar skills, writing and expressing his true emotions in song. With a unique voice coupled with lyrics that touch the soul and a determination to write great music, he has created Playin' Syx.
After many heartbreaking tries, he set forth on a mission about five years ago: Simplify!
The debute CD "Finding MySelf HERE" brings together many styles absorbed by the young man. Taking elements from Rock, Pop, Soul, Blues and the gritty voice of his southern fried hero's. He gives you his soul on a piece of plastic.
Why haven't you heard of this new guitar master? Austin Texas being his hometown, he has always looked for a larger canvas to spread the music. Performing in the central Texas area, Playin'Syx adds their style to the classic rock standards. Mixing up their Suthern Fried Austin Soul into a new dimension of music.
