Bio / Background
Pirate Jenny is releasing its latest CD, "Once Upon a Wave," a disc with a rich buccaneer theme. The songs walk the plank between ska, alt.folk-rock, Gilbert & Sullivan-style operetta tunes and traditional-sounding chanteys. All will leave you wanting to grab a cutlass, grow a beard and sail the seas with a parrot on your shoulder.

"Once Upon a Wave" isn't quite as cohesive in theme and style as "Never-Sea Land", it stretches the pirate music genre and has something for everyone.
The album includes some fabulous, glittering gems, including my favorite pirate song of all: "Sensitive Guy". This pop-sensation is the song which turned me into a devoted fan for life.
