A hip blend of reggae, jazz, African, Indian and trance-dance grooves, vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist Phyllis Addison crafts stunning melodies while her partner and bassist Dean Foster, sculpts wicked grooves. The songs pull us in at first listen and then, with plenty of texture and harmonic content, keep us there to navigate the depths. This fresh, new sound blends traditional rock band instrumentation with Sarod, Bansuri Flute, Udu and Didgeridoo. A masterful weave, "Seven Gifts" works on every level.
