Bio / Background
Phaze II is a six piece Contemporary Jazz/Funk band from Washington, DC. The CD consists of ten original compositions and one cover song. Options is a mix of free jazz, funk, Latin Jazz, and R & B. Phaze II has been together for ten years and they are currently working on their third CD. Phaze II were also the winners of the 2005 Capital Jazz Challenge held at the 13th Annual Capital Jazz Festival. Phaze II was selected from over 600 entries across the country.
