Hearstfield released four albums on Mercury & Columbia Records, toured for 10 years straight 250 dates per year with everyone from Waylon & Willie to Eric Clapton, Perry's song writing had the band working the country rock circuit in it's heyday with all the big boys, Lynrd Skynrd, Charlie Daniel's, Doobie Brothers , Marshall Tucker , Poco Stephen Stills on and on. With songs full of Fiddle, Mandolin, Dobro, Piano, Washboard, Jaw Harp, Acoustic guitar, Slide electric guitars this Cd is Jordans' best writing yet and will take you on a trip down south to rockin' the way they do it down yonder. Combing all the above in a unique mixture of americana, country rock & folk rock.

Harking back to his Savannah GA. heritage, mixing in some of that infamous Memphis groove this CD is true Americana with songs that make you think, feel and get your butt a movin'. Jordan has always been known for his lyrical work with fans taking the songs and lyric he's written to heart and keeping them there for many a year. Stories that paint pictures of livin' in this crazy ole' world but always with an eye on making the best of it and leave you feeling positive in spite of it all.

Georgia Flyer has been in the works for a few years but came into being when Jordan finally got a 24track state of the art studio at home, a career long dream. 95 % of the record was recorded in his special monogramed "Recording Pajamas " keeping the down home feel as real as possible. Many of his friends/players came on in and helped make the music come alive and soar including Tommy Grey wolf former Brooks & Dunn fiddler, bass man extrodinaire Bob Teske, old Heartsfield guitar wiz Phil Lucafo, and local stars Mellissa Rose sweet harmonies, Dave Nelson & Elmer Quiles spanking those slide guitars like the devil, Scott Steveson pounding the keys. The music is steeped in southern soul but make no mistkae about it with hot guitar pickin, and a driving rhythm section Georgia Flyer is a work of great vocals, great songs and and rockin' band.
