Bio / Background
The People are precisely who they are and what they're trying to be just happens to be exactly how they already sound.
It all makes sense to Scott Starr (formerly of the group, Kadence), Joey Carini (member of the Willy Porter Band), and Kevin Dunphy; the three members that make up the rock n roll trio. They make music that pleases them and their kicks to write "feel good" melodies that are simple yet impossible to forget.
With influences such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Police, The Clash, and Led Zeppelin, The People bring together a variety of sounds and euphonic nuances over three part harmonies and melodic songwriting. Visuals run through vintage television sets that surround their performance as the songs weave in and out of The People's fine tuned production.
