Bio / Background

This is where "diet punk" started for Pop Punk quartet Pensive. The San Diego band's first release Kids These Days is rooted in the tradition of California "new-school" melodic punk rock with energetic, three-chord, guitar-driven laments to every kid's life these days.

Also available on CD Baby, Pensive's follow-up EP, Something About the Stars . . . "six tracks of powerhouse music putting us all on notice that Pensive has arrived and this is only the beginning for a band with a truckload of spitfire energy."
