Bio / Background
Perfect imperfection in that Cosmic American (GP, thanks) sort of way. Call it whatever you want, but the bottom line is honest Rock and Roll music. It's a living, breathing form with a real soul.
Originally from New York and currently living in Boston, Patrick Dunn is finding a home in the resurgence of the songwriter. His Americana sensibility and raw emotion recall both the timeless feel of artists such as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and The Band as well as the modern ideas of folks like Ryan Adams, Wilco, and Bright Eyes. At the same time, Patrick has his own sound and is poised to claim his place in the evolving timeline of Rock and Roll.
Currently, Patrick is about to release his second album, "Down That Road," on the new DirtFloor Records label. Recorded and mixed in two 4-day sessions, this album will prove to be his most focused and important work to date.
