The Parallelograms make woozy, warm electronic pop for a surreal world. Equally informed by 80s avant synthrock, 60s soft-psychedelia, and 90s shoegaze experimentalism, the group produces a singular sound that is otherworldly yet still inviting. Catchy melodies and hooks sit atop a sometimes minimal, sometimes dense bed of instrumentation - mixing analogue synthesizers, hazy guitar and modern beats.
Whether singing about mushroom trips gone awry, certain current leaders, or the inevitable triumph and tragedy of love, the Parallelograms are after your heart. They're looking for those spine-tingling, goosebump-inducing moments when sound, emotion and melody come together to form a great song. In their quest to reveal life's unguarded moments, they're not afraid to wear their hearts on their sleeves and plunge right into passion's murky waters.
