Bio / Background
Paradigm is a testament to longevity. What started as four young kids barely starting high school has become a band that has evolved, gone up, gone down, gotten into musical car wrecks, been broken, been renewed, but most of all...perservered. Now in their sixth year together, Paradigm has recorded three full-length albums (including their newest, "The Madhouse"), numerous demos, played countless shows around the midwest, and won the loyalty of many.
The Madhouse is destined to be a Chicago cult classic. It is an album that the band had been writing songs for since early 2005, and then spent recording and producing from October '05 through the summer of 2006. Countless hours of passion, frustration, joy, pain, and satisfaction were a part of the creation of the album. It is the highest point of maturation yet achieved on recording by the band, and it shows. From both a lyrical and musical standpoint, it is miles ahead of the band's '05 release, Mainstream Epidemic.
