Ancient traditions of Yup'ik drumming and singing have continued since time immemorial.
Bio / Background
This album features traditional Yup'ik (Inuit) singing and druming, an ancient form of theatrical expression and storytelling from southwestern Alaska.
Drums of the North is the first strictly traditional Yup'ik album ever produced. This is Pamyua's fourth album and it's sure to be as successful as their previous three. Back to the roots.
