Loud, alt-rock, quirky, dissonant unpleasant songs from a green and pleasant land: Wales.
Bio / Background
THINK OF A NUMBER…An Unpleasant Number - the second album from Old Garbo.
If you can get past the visually arresting image on the cover of Old Garbo's 2nd album you may notice the odd numeral or two. Look hard and you may find crime author Edward Bunker's prison number and that mysterious sequence from LOST. Is this a reference to the album's title "An Unpleasant Number" or does it point to an unhealthy obsession with Mr. Eko and friends?
Another explanation may be the title's reference to the filthy crush of humanity - the agoraphobic perspective of songsmith Russell Prothero - which informs many of this release's tunes.
Each copy of An Unpleasant Number has a unique number and has been signed by the band. As such numbers of this special silver CDR are strictly limited. Get 1 now B4 they disappear 4ever.
Old Garbo's debut album "Walking on all Flaws" is also available from this site.
