Bio / Background

Benga as presented by Okatch Biggy rejuvenated the local music scene at a time when most listeners were turning to Zairean artists. Because of his unique style that includes social commentary, Biggy was able to appeal to just about every type of fan. That fans would travel from far and wide to the lakeside city of Kisumu to listen to Biggy said it all. This CD has some of the most popular songs by Biggy with his orchestra Heka Heka.
