Bio / Background

There is a new sound emanating through the burnt out steel mills and dirty streets of Northeast Ohio. There is a new spirit and new energy filling the hearts of the young and discontent. In the past this area has been known as "the mistake by the lake", but in the future people will look back and remember this area with a new phrase: "This is where the the revolution started...". This is where THE OHIO SKY began to change the face of rock.

In August 2006 Guitarist Vince DiFranco (ex-Shenoah), Vocalist Rob Montague (ex-Shenoah, This Mourning Memory), Bassist Michael Drury (ex-This Mourning Memory) and Drummer Eric Bambic set out to bring passionate driving rock back onto the scene. Textured melodies, soaring vocals, sonic guitars, pounding percussion, thunderous bass and undeniable hooks. "We want to bring back honest rock music. It's very disheartening to hear artists who don't write there own songs. With the concern being more focused on image and packaging.
