Bio / Background
Combining a wide variety of vibes from rock to funk to disco and more Odd Numbers has created sound that is rooted in hip hop, and yet cannot be limited to that. The tracks on their debut album "Here You Go Little Girl" flow from gritty hip hop anthems, to high energy tunes with catchy hooks, to soulful story telling ballads without missing a beat. Much of the music carries a serious message dealing with real human issues but throughout the album Odd Numbers also lets you know that they like to have fun, and they want you to come join the party.
The two emcees in the group, B-Wise and Henrock, provide the hip hop aspect of the trio, bringing two completely different yet complimentary styles to the group's sound. 86, the group's singer, has a wide variety of vocal ranges that he laces their tracks with, giving the group the backbone of their totally original sound.
