Bio / Background
THE END IS UNKNOWN! Everyone’s days on this Earth are numbered, and we often lose sight of that. NUMBERED DAYS (NDZ), all-original rock band from Western Washington, reminds us to live every one to its fullest.
NDZ members are cut from a wide cloth of backgrounds: Law Enforcement, Engineering, Construction, and Management. Together, they’ve channeled their intense passion into an innovative tapestry that ranges from Modern Rock, Alternative, Progressive Rock, 90’s Grunge, and even Screamo bands. Although all members of the band contributed lyrically to the music, lead vocalist Bryan Lewis draws from past life experiences to fill the songs with intense lyrical content that reaches the audience on a very personal level.
Their first, full-length album “Under the Umbilical Tree,” recorded and produced at the legendary Opal Studios in Portland, Oregon, has now been released to the rave reviews of fans, musicians, bands, and industry pros.
↓ more ↓Early reviews of the all-original material say there are no filler tracks, and the release party on 07/07/07, with a live broadcast on 94.5 KLYK netted 150 cd sales in the one event! The Seattle CD release event July 27th looking to be another amazing party event.
Since the release of their self-titled EP in 2006, NDZ fan base has swelled dramatically, the demand increasing the number of shows they play each month. Hits from “Under The Umbilical Tree,” ncluding “Six”, “Sinking Ship”, “Found Me Out”, “Pull you Under”, “Epilogue”, and “Unknown” are seeing some radio play..
NDZ has its fingers on the pulse of our NUMBERED DAYS, mastering the emotional rise and fall of music. NDZ music is described by listeners "just rock," with a wide variety of sound. Always something new and engaging, yet always maintaining the modern rock sound of NUMBERED DAYS.

Review of "Under the Umbilical Tree" by Xavier P. and RadioIndy.com!RadioIndy wrote on October 19, 2007
Rockers, here’s a reason to get excited! “Under the Umbilical Tree” by the cleverly named Numbered Days will give listeners an opportunity to get off their feet and shout at the top of their lungs! The lyrics of the CD tracks are highly inspirational and sometimes spiritual, constantly reinforcing the life-enhancing message behind their name: everyone’s days are numbered, so live each day to the fullest. Musically, Numbered Days is nothing short of phenomenal on this CD! Grinding, overdriven guitars ring to electrifying arrangements, backed by hard-hitting drum beats that come together in a very tight sound. “Games” flaunts a compelling intro and initially assumes a strick alternative sound, quickly unleashing its full rock fury shortly after. “Pull You Under” delivers highly melodic lead melodies and awesome electric riffs. Moreover, every vocal performance on “Under the Umbilical Tree” is delivered with unreserved power, control, and feeling. What’s more, top-notch production gives this band the professional sound that should gather them significant radio and media attention! Fans of Nickelback, Daughtry, and Three Days Grace, you have got to hear this one!
