Singer/songwriter music with different production. Pretty acoustic songs sit alongside pop tunes with electronic pulses, and even a Reznor-esque remix of a 'Stateside' track.
Bio / Background
Hailing proudly from the frosty climes of Anchorage, AK, independent troubadour Andrew Norsworthy has taken his distinctive sound and songs far and wide for over ten years. 2003 saw the end of a long, joyous tenure with his Seattle band Crystal Radio (or, Joran, on their last record), and Norsworthy packed his bags for Europe. He hasn't stopped moving, returning from a successful stint performing in Germany to a relentless US tour schedule in 2004. Key releases of the past few years include 2003's critically-praised, elegant folk cycle Stateside, 2005's eclectic The Absentee EP, and he's currently in Texas working on a new full-length slated for an early 2007 release, called Horizon City.
