Founded in 1992, this brass and percussion ensemble is made up of free lance musicians from Max Roach, Ornette Coleman, Duke Ellington Legacy, Chico O'Farrill, Charli Persip, The New York City Opera, Luther Vandross, and Barbara Striesand. They came together in New York City from diverse backgrounds to create some eclectic and dynamic music.

"NoNo" has performed in many of New York's finest jazz clubs such as Birdland, the Knitting Factory, Kavehaz, and the West End.
