Bio / Background
Noella Choi is a Chinese-Canadian Singer-Songwriter with a soulful and sultry voice. Her interest in music began at a young age leading to her exploration and participation of all types of music including Pop, Jazz, Musicals, Opera, and Concert Bands. She had won several contests such as “The 1999 New Talent Singing Contest.”
Her love of music lead to an Honours Bachelor of Music Degree in Theory and Composition from the University of Western Ontario where she also majored in Voice. After graduating, she worked as a Music Director at TVB (Television Broadcast Hong Kong) where she completed over 200 episodes of the Sitcom, Virtues of Harmony I. In addition to being a Music Director, Noella also provided vocals for Songs used in TVB series such as "Life Begins At Forty,” “Good Against Evil” and most recently, “Fire Dance, Yellow Sand.
