Bio / Background
The long awaited debut recording by the New World Jazz Composers Octet, this 5 year old ensemble comprised of some of New England's finest musicians (5 of whom are well-respected professors at the infamous Berklee College of Music in Boston!). This is a selection of musical morsels from an ever growing book of original compostions written by Ted Pease, Ken Schaphorst, Matthew Nicholl, Jeff Friedman, Bob Pilkington. Other writers for this great group have ncluded Bob Freedman, Jack Walrath, Richard Lowell, Dana Brayton, and Pablo Ablanedo.
