Bio / Background

New Atlantis deftly and beautifully mixes Classical, New Age, and Jazz styles to create a sound that is at once relaxing and uplifting. The pieces use counter-melodies and rich harmonies, giving the music a complexity rarely found in the New Age genre. Amulet is an album you will play repeatedly, finding different nuances with every listening.

Chuck Easter plays guitar and synthesizer, Laura Troy is on flute, and Greg Waltzer plays synthesizer. Joe Paslawski is on bass (tracks 4, 8, and 9), while Jim Kelly adds his guitar on tracks 2 and 6.
